Janet Pierce

1932 – 2008

~In Memoriam~

On August 25 long time Bulldogger, Janet Pierce crossed over the “Rainbow Bridge” to join her many Longhaven Bulldog companions.

Janet was raised in Hastings, Nebraska and moved to Coos Bay, Oregon in 1956 where she taught kindergarten and 1st grade for many years.

Janet has been involved with and loved Bulldogs for over 40 years. She enjoyed breeding and showing her Bulldogs and will be remembered through her Longhaven kennel name.

Janet has been an active member of the Bulldog Club of America, Oregon State Bulldog Club and was a founding member of South West Oregon Bulldog Club and the Coos Kennel Club. Through out the years Janet has served as an officer and in various committee positions for BCA, Division V, South West Oregon Bulldog Club and Coos Kennel Club.

Janet is survived by her husband Don Pierce, two sons, three stepchildren and four grandchildren.
